Pear bread with hemp crumble

“I had the idea of making a hemp crumble on top of the bread; the result is delicious! In addition to adding more protein, it becomes a bit crunchy. Now I put it on all recipes breads or muffins that I make. I would admit that on this pear bread, it’s my favorite combination! “

  • 1teaspoon ofbaking soda
  • 2teaspoon ofbaking powder

Wet ingredients for pear bread
  • 1/4cup ofvegetable oil
  • 1/4cup ofmaple syrup
  • 1/4cup ofbrown sugar
  • 1/2cup ofsoy beverage
  • 2eggs
  • 2cups ofpearscut into cubes
Ingredients for hemp crumble
  • 3tablespoons ofhemp seedsORIJIN
  • 2tablespoons ofquick cooking rolled oats
  • 2tablespoons ofmargarine
  • 2tablespoons ofbrown sugar
  • 1/2teaspoon ofcinnamon(ground)
  • 1pinch ofsalt
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350 F. Line a loaf pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, combine the wet ingredients.
  3. In another bowl, combine the dry ingredients.
  4. Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix gently.
  5. Stir in the pears and pour into the bread pan.
  6. In a bowl, combine the ingredients for the hemp crumble.
  7. Place the crumble on the bread and bake for 1 hour or until a toothpick comes out dry from the bread.
